Community Involvement
CleanRiver is committed to supporting our local community through charitable funding - from medical research and hospital patient care, to the arts programs, and the food bank.
Our global initiative is referred to as the “Bird Box Program” where we support schools throughout North America to advance bird nesting to ensure the survival of the bird populations that form a leading indicator of the health of our environment. Our bird boxes are made from the same long lasting and sustainable, high density polyethelene (HDPE) plastic lumber we use to make many of our recycling containers and recycling stations from We wish to thank our suppliers who generously contribute to this program with their donationss and each of our customers who, through their purchases of CleanRiver products, provide us with the ability to support each of these worthwhile causes and enable us to give back while advancing our stewardship responsibilities.
This is our environmental philosophy and as you can see it permeates all facets of our business, from our low-impact facility and manufacturing processes to our use of recycled materials in every design. In the end, we recognize that we have an obligation to serve our customer’s without sacrificing the environment so we can be proud of what we will leave behind for our children and their children.
