Tree Planting Event 2010

It was a very busy morning at the Aurora Community Arboretum for their Tree Planting Event.

There was an amazing turnout of approximately 40 volunteers who helped to plant 350 trees in just a few hours! Many volunteers came from and couldn't be missed in those great bright green shirts. The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority and the Arboretum Board were also lending help to plant the trees. It was wonderful to see all of them volunteer to help with such a great project. Planting trees helps improve the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we all share. Where could you plant another tree in your community? The Aurora Community Arboretum is located at 245 Industrial Parkway North, so come out to see the great work from these volunteers!
